DEER PROOF PLANTS IN THUNDER BAY

Damage to ornamental plants by white-tailed deer has increased. IPM (integrated pest management) strategies include population management, fencing, repellents, or vegetation management. Landscaping based on a knowledge of deer feeding preferences provides an alternative to repellents and physical barriers. It is difficult to predict the behaviour of hungry deer.
